The Polycom Soundstation 2W is a wireless verion of the popular Soundstation 2 conference phone. It works in the same way as a normal cordless phone, there is a base that plugs into ana analogue telephone line or a PBX analogue extension and a wireless conference phone that even has a built in battery pack so it can be used in the middle of a conference table with no wires and just plugged into the mains when it needs re-charging.
